Circuit La Pommeraye
La Pommeraye is situated between Nantes and Angers on the west coast of France and is about 250km from St Malo. The 2.6km course runs up through a vineyard which produces the well-known Anjou wines, which incidentally are on sale at the event.
The course at La Pommeraye underwent some major changes for the 2011 event, some of which were cause for considerable debate. However drivers will be pleased to learn that the controversial chicane after the start line has been removed for 2012.
The middle section at La Pommeraye is what gets the heart pounding as the quicker cars sweep through the Armco rails and under the passerelle at over 130mph.
