To enter Saint Goueno and la Pommeraye Masters is simple, below is a guide of driver and vehicle requirements.

Driver documentation

A valid driving licence.

A valid competition licence of any grade issued by the MSA.

European Health Insurance card (EHIC).

Clothing

HANS device to be worn by drivers of all cars with the exception of*;

 1. *Cars built before 1977.

 2. *Standard production cars fitted with original equipment lap and diagonal seat belts.

Helmet which complies with current MSA requirement for hillclimbs.

Race suit which complies with current MSA requirement for hillclimbs.

Gloves to FIA standard.

Drivers of single seaters & sports racers must wear a balaclava.

Competition car

The car must comply with the  hillclimb technical regulations of the UK or Ireland *.

* Sand Racing type cars are not permitted.

In addition to the above the car must have the following safety equipment;

Fire extinguisher

Closed, sports convertable and 7esque cars. . . 2kg hand held minimum.

Single seaters/sports racers . . . plumbed in 2kg minimum.

Harness:

Standard road cars . . . OE or FIA as below.

Modified saloons/sports . . . FIA 4 point with 3 inch shoulder straps (in date).

Single seater/sports racers . . . FIA 6 point with 3 inch shoulder straps (in date).

Other:

Rear view mirrors.

Clearly marked towing points.
